They each received a $500 donation at our February 11 general meeting. The LML has been making two donations annually for the past 10 years. 12th ANNIVERSARY DINNER Our LML Twelfth Anniversary Dinner was a delight! We filled the dining room at the Studio. The art, the ambience, the service, and, of course, the food and beverages were everything we could have hoped for. Every food preference, allergy, and libation choice was addressed perfectly. LM President Richard Hammes was our emcee and welcomed us, shared the history of our group and presided over the raffle which sent six winners home with the floral centerpieces from our tables. Thanks to Alan Nelson, our Special Events coordinator. Beau Patterson has been our rapper laureate before and charmed us again with his 2026 rendition of: Our Liberal Men Anniversary Rap Pick up your glass, raise it high Whether it’s wine, beer, water, or gin, It’s been twelve years together as liberals When our friendship connection began. Our experiences are the lessons learned And don’t repeat those crazy mistakes, What we’ve gained through twelve years together, Is knowing how to bend and nt break. I have opinions and so do you, And each has sore spots and quirks, But the respect we have transcends it all, And that makes this relationship work. Pick up your glass, raise it high Whether it’s wine, beer, water, or gin, We’re celebrating our time together today, The Liberal Men connection never ends. |
