Member Career Presentation:  Brian Baxter

Brian Baxter had a range of jobs but the bulk of his career was with the New York State Office of Mental Health which included five adult mental health facilities serving eighteen counties.  He was a facility coordinator, program analyst, geriatric coordinator and team leader of a psychiatric center. He retired as the Deputy Commissioner for Mental Health.  Prior to that he was a Cottage Director at Temple University  Woodhaven Center and earlier at a two other treatment facilities.  Brian will provide an overview of his career and discuss the status of mental health care in the United States.
