These are the questions for our next current events meeting at Mangiamo’s, at noon for lunch.  Although you pay for lunch at the restaurant, please register on our website or let Richard Hammes know you are coming so he can give the restaurant an accurate headcount.

  • 1.       If we reasonably concede that immigration is a critical issue where liberal policies are not working and are out of step with voters, what should be the key points for a reasonable and workable immigration policy?
  • 2.       What is the better strategy for Democrats and liberals:  Step back and let Trump self-implode with policies and actions that will turn voters against his administration or continue to actively challenge their actions?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
  • 3.       Does the United Nations have a role as international alliances change, there are war zones around the globe, NATO seems unable to make an impact, global partnerships and adversaries  are changing and other global issues seem to be unaffected by any UN resolutions or actions?
